At Caterpillars to Butterflies Preschool, our aim is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. We believe in supporting every child's growth and development through play-based learning and community engagement.
Unfortunately, our nursery story app has now finished and we are moving over to a new app but there may be some delays in going live so we may for the short term be relying on verbal handovers. we will try and send photos over via email but be do ask if you have any concerns about your childs nursery day.
We will be going to western super mare as our seaside trip this year. we will be going on friday 21st August and seats will cost £12.50 per person. You can reserve your seat by paying a £5 non refundable deposit. we are also offering a saving club this year where you will be able to pay weekly amounts which then will be given back to you the morning of the trip giving you your spending money.
On Friday 20th March, We are taking part in Tommy's big sleep out. We will be giving up one night of comfort to raise awareness and vital funds to help provide safe homes, mental health support and a pathway back to independence for those who served our country. We offer a range of programs to meet the needs of children from infancy through to school age. Our programs include infant and toddler care, both 15 hour and 30 hours are available at this setting , preschool, before and after-school care, and half term clubs for a range of different ages.
This week at Caterpillars to Butterflies Preschool, we have been learning all about Chinese new year, this has been done through lots of different activities across the next few weeks, including; making cards for the year of the horse, playing with coloured rice with Chinese numbers in it, creating chinese lanterns, making chinese fans and through story telling as we have started to read our new book about why Chinese new year is important. We will be having a Chinese new year party this week as well
